Introduction of On Yee Hostel and On Yue Hostel
On Yee Hostel and On Yue Hostel was officially established in 2001. It serves as a transitional accommodation and rehabilitation service for a limited period for individuals recovering from mental illness. The dormitory consists of 25 female dormitory spaces and 15 male spaces.
提供復康小組、精神健康教育、藥物及病徵管理訓練等，以增加服務使用者對病徵的理解，從而提升處理病徵和及時求助的能力。
- People with mental illness, aged 15 or above.
- Physically and mentally suitable for group living and are approved by the professionals.
- Have a stable work or vocational training engagement.
- Mastery of self-care skill with good drug compliance.
- Alcohol, drug abuse, smoking and gambling addiction are prohibited.
- Accommodation needs and willing to participate in rehabilitation training.
All applicants may approach doctors and social workers for referral. Referrals are made through the Central Referral System for Rehabilitation Services operated by the Social Welfare Department.
- During the stay, the discharge plan will be formulated which is according to service users' progress and their needs.
- For those service users who do not comply with the rules and regulations or meet the eligibility criteria of the Hostels, their service may be terminated.
